“Why haven’t I heard about this before?” McDonald’s customer discovers $2 Valentine’s Friend pack, featuring free ice cream, a burger, and more. But is it really worth it?

They say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and judging by this viral TikTok, McDonald’s seems to be taking that to heart. In the video, which has garnered 658,100 views, Nisha (@stillcuteeee_) shared a pamphlet called the Valentine Friend Pack. It included a variety of coupons for free McDonald’s items, such as ice cream and a hamburger.

“To all my TikTok moms, these are just $2 at McDonald’s,” she said. “It’s called the Valentine Friend Pack. But for me, I get them to give to my kids directly… You can hear my son in the background saying, ‘Oh, I got an ice cream!’ So they get a free ice cream cone, free apple juice, a free hamburger—things like that. It’s so freaking cool.”

Nisha didn’t immediately reply to the phundi.com request for comment via TikTok.

Viewers were thrilled about the offer, sharing all the different ways they’d make use of it.

“I’m buying 10 of these and handing them out in my Valentine bags for Door Dash orders,” one person said. “I give out treat bags every holiday, and this would be perfect for them.”

“I’m getting one for my child’s whole class,” another revealed.

A third person shared, “Omg, I don’t have kids, but I want to do this and drop off mini V-Day bags at a women’s and children’s shelter.”

Many teachers also mentioned they were picking up the booklet for their classrooms.

In the comments, Nisha also stated that you didn’t need to make a purchase to use these coupons, though the was unable to verify this independently.

McDonald’s did not respond to the Phundi.com request for comment via email.

How else can I score free food at McDonald’s?
In another viral video, TikTok user and McDonald’s employee Laura revealed how you can get free McDonald’s food through the app. Normally, the app lets you redeem free coupons only every fifteen minutes, but Laura shared a trick to bypass that limit.

The first step, she explained, is to place an order at the drive-thru. Next, take a screenshot of the code the app provides, and then place a second order to be picked up inside the restaurant.

When you reach the window, show the employee the code for the drive-thru order, which should be free. After your order is completed, hand over the code for your second order.

“So now you’ve got two free meals—one for you and one for your kid,” she said. “You’re welcome.”
